Ingredients
  

  • 2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons red food coloring
  • 1 teaspoon vinegar
Cream Cheese Swirl
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a Bundt pan.
  2. Whisk flour, sugar, baking soda, cocoa, and salt.
  3. In another bowl mix eggs, oil, buttermilk, vanilla, food coloring, and vinegar.
  4. Combine wet and dry ingredients.
  5. Mix cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth.
  6. Pour ⅔ of cake batter into the pan. Add cream cheese filling. Top with remaining batter.
  7. Bake 50–60 minutes until a tester comes out clean.
  8. Cool completely before slicing.
