Ingredients
2 Cornish hens, patted dry
2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
1 teaspoon salt
ยฝ teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 lemon, halved
4 cloves garlic
Fresh herbs (optional)
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400ยฐF (200ยฐC).
- Rub hens with olive oil or butter. Season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, thyme, and rosemary.
- Stuff each cavity with half a lemon and 2 garlic cloves.
- Place hens on a baking tray and roast 50โ60 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165ยฐF (75ยฐC).
- Rest 10 minutes before serving.
