Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 ¼ teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon butter for brushing

Method
 

  1. Combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast. Let sit 5 minutes until foamy.
  2. Add melted butter, salt, and flour; mix until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead 5–7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Cover and let rise 30–40 minutes.
  5. Divide dough into 8 balls and place in a greased baking dish.
  6. Let rise 10–15 minutes.
  7. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 12–15 minutes until golden.
  8. Brush with butter immediately.
