Shrimp and Broccoli Pasta

Ingredients
  

  • 6-8 oz pasta
  • 8 oz shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan

Method
 

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions.
  2. Steam or boil broccoli until tender-crisp.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sauté garlic.
  4. Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side.
  5. Toss pasta and broccoli into the skillet.
  6. Season and finish with parmesan.

Notes

  • Add red pepper flakes.
  • Use cream or pasta water for a saucier dish.
  • Swap shrimp for chicken.
