Pumpkin Pie

A creamy, spiced pumpkin pie baked in a flaky crust — the classic Thanksgiving finale.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 (15 oz) can pumpkin puree
  • 1 (9-inch) pie crust
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup evaporated milk
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon ginger
  • Pinch of salt
  • Whipped topping, for serving

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together pumpkin, eggs, sugar, milk, and spices until smooth.
  3. Pour filling into pie crust.
  4. Bake 15 minutes, then reduce heat to 350°F and bake another 40 minutes or until center is set.
  5. Cool before serving and top with whipped cream.
