Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz dried pasta (any shape)
  • 1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups vegetable or chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Method
 

  1. Add pasta, diced tomatoes, broth, olive oil, and tomato paste to a large pot.
  2. Stir in garlic powder, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
  4. Cook 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened.
  5. Taste and adjust seasoning before serving.
