Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 1 carrot, finely grated
  • 1/2 bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 6 hamburger buns

Method
 

  1. Cook ground meat in a skillet over medium heat until browned.
  2. Add onion, carrot, and bell pepper; cook 5 minutes until softened.
  3. Stir in ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  4. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
