  • 12 oz fresh cranberries
  • ½ cup sugar
  • ½ cup water or orange juice
  • Pinch of salt

Method
 

  1. Combine cranberries, sugar, and water in a saucepan.
  2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer 7–10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until most berries pop.
  4. Remove from heat and cool completely before serving.
