Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Black pepper, to taste

Method
 

  1. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add onions, sugar, and salt; cook, stirring often, until deeply golden and caramelized.
  3. Let onions cool slightly.
  4. In a bowl, mix sour cream, cream cheese, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and pepper.
  5. Fold in caramelized onions.
  6. Chill at least 30 minutes before serving.
